It is the policy of Ruger Energies to provide the resources necessary:

To maintain health and safety systems in compliance with OHS and OHSAS 18001, including any statutory or local regulations and requirements.
To protect individuals against risk to health and safety arising out of Ruger’s business.
To ensure everyone knows and complies to the 12 Life Saving rules.
To investigate every potential violation.
To hold people accountable, management, supervisors, staff, contractors, sub-contractors.
To protect Ruger and client property against damage and loss.
To minimise the risk to the environment arising out of Ruger’s activities.
Understand that no operating condition or urgency of service can ever justify endangering the lives of anyone.

12 rules

At all times, Ruger and its employees are fully committed to these 12 Life Saving rules:

Work with a valid work permit when required

Conduct gas tests when required

Verify isolation before work begins and use the specified life protecting equipment

Obtain authorization before entering a confined space

Obtain authorization before overriding or disabling safety critical equipment

Protect yourself against a fall when working at height

Do not walk under a suspended load

Do not smoke outside designated smoking areas

No alcohol or drugs while working or driving

While driving, do not use your phone and do not exceed speed limits

Wear your seat belt

Follow prescribed Journey Management Plan

We also supply regular maintenance, inspection and testing and use accredited competent employees with approved equipment
